“Eska, look at all the snow! Come play with me!” Bolin asked while trying to simultaneously get snow clothes on. “I’ve never seen so much before.”
She frowned and watched her companion. “It’s just snow. You don’t have to play just because its there.” When she was younger, she saw other kids laugh and playing in the snow. It was different for her because she saw it as her element. She only thought

Chapter 52
Play On!
Sokka's heart started to pound in his chest as a sheepish smile crept across his ruddy face.
"Uh... cheating how... in what way Katara?" he asked, hoping it was not about what he had witnessed in that park a few days prior.
"The game," she stated flatly. "What else would I be talking about… duhhh? Keep up with me here
Her kisses weren’t the kind he had read about; they weren’t tender—filled with longing or passionate. They weren’t shy or simple like most first kisses were. No, they were forceful and hard—almost like he was being knocked with an earth disk during a probending match.
The first time she kissed him he had been shocked. He hadn’t seen it coming. They were talking, and he figured he was failing rather miserably at shooting the breeze with her. He blamed himself for it. He talked a big game, but at the end of the day he wasn’t as good with girls as he led everyone to think. He could easily talk to them,

Ty Lee's Heavens Light/ Azula's Hellfire.
Ty Lee sat under one of the trees in the palaces gardens, almost enjoying being alone for once. It had been a couple weeks since she had returned to the Fire nation along with Mai and Azula, and her family where not as pleased to see her as she had hoped. They had yelled at her for just leaving and abandoning the family, but she was not as stupid as most people thought. Ty-lee may have hoped for a different reaction but she was not really surprised with their anger and knew that it would fade.
What she was not prepared for though was being thrown back into the same house that forced her away in the first place. She had hoped that had gotten

Mud, Sweat, and Tears -1- (AtLA Katoph AU)
A/N: After receiving multiple comments over the years insinuating that the way I write these two characters is 'gay,' I finally decided that since I had never actually written a story with them in an actual romance, I'd try my hand at it. Perhaps unexpectedly, the setting turned out to be a fairly depressing backdrop. Please feel free to leave feedback on the execution, specifically in regards to 'telling' versus 'showing,' as I am trying to strike some kind of balance between alluding to backstory that can be dug into more later, while also explaining enough to give the situation context.
